Comment: What is there to say? This movie just works, and is eminently re-watchable. Rating: ****

The Extras: Plentiful. Includes a documentary on the making of the film (mysteriously hosted by Angela Lansbury); outtakes and deleted scenes, including a re-creation of the famous "The Jitterbug" sequence; 1979 interviews with Magaret Hamilton, Ray Bolger, and Jack Haley; and more.

On the first information page for the Wicked Witch, select the hour glass. This will take you to some pages with information on the flying monkeys.
In the 'Oz Characters' section of the Special Features menu, go to the first page of Glinda's info. Select the glowing orb above her wand, and you will find some hidden information pages on the Munchkins.

Usability: Frustrating menus! It's difficult to tell which option is selected—it displays the opposite of what is expected. The box does have a great index of contents, however.
